My service Traction control/ABS light comes on almost daily. I shut the car off and restart. The light goes out and may or may not come back on. There is a grinding noise in the front end like a motor is running. I've been told a wheel sensor may be out but I've checked for a bad bearing in the front end and both sides seem fine. Any other ideas?

ABS/Traction control errors generate trouble codes beginning with a "C" (chassis). ABS failure will disable traction control.

Have car scanned with a Chassis scanner to isolate problem.

Could be wheel sensor, reluctor ring, ABS module etc.
Code will isolate problem and save you money in the long run.
