Hi tailpipe. Welcome to the forum. I've repaired a few GM radios. If your display was orange and in the upper left corner, there are three special light bulbs. The originals are very expensive as are most GM parts, but I have a similar bulb that works well and costs less. Unfortunately I can't repair anything else on GM and Ford radios because they won't sell service manuals for them.
