I would have car checked by a mechanic of your choice, if seller won't let you do that, RUN away.
The noise is most likely a CV shaft, or wheel bearing, I doubt it is supercharger, but if it is, it will have to be replaced, and blowers are not cheap.
The fact that it has been in a collision, makes it more important that you have it checked by a mechanic before you buy.
