1995 Pontiac Grand Prix motor

I blew the motor in it then I got a new motor put in there but the machanic shop couldnt get it to run right. It runs with a real bad sputter when you finally get it started then it'll kill. Any advice?

Take it back to mechanic and have it diagnosed, could be an ignition/fuel problem or a host of other problems.
But, if they installed a new or remanufactured motor, they should get it running right before they return it to you.
