If it was through a dealer, I would expect you would have a warranty on it.
If not you need to spend a few more dollars and get a code reader, or get the codes read, then we can go further.
There may be no codes, and you will probably have to have some troubleshooting done by a garage that is current on technology. You brakes will not be affected, but the abs may be.
