The catalytic converter was replaced about a month ago in my car and now after start up the car will either shake for 5-10 seconds before finally catching and drive normally or will shut off. I have no idea what the problem could be as this rough start was not present before the converter was installed. Thanks for your help.

What engine is in it? Could be an injector bleeding down overnight or an ignition problem. Have you ever tuned it up? Might want to pull the plugs and see if any one looks different than the others
