2002 Pontiac Grand Am Is this a Good Deal

I am thinking about purchasing a 2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE1 Coupe. I would like to know if 6,999.00 (The car has 46, 106 miles on it), sounds like a fair price? Also how long do these cars last. By this I mean: for example I always hear Honda's run forever so the resale value is always good on a Honda.

I am not familiar with the Pontiac. Any advice would help me greatly.

The grand am is allright. Expect to put in some money when you get it. Have a shop check the car out before you buy it. I doubt certain maintenance has been done. AKA coolant flush, transmision filter, fuel filter, battery would be due if not yet done.
