Yes I have a 2000 Grand Am and it was leaking coolant thru the housing of the thermastat. So we replaced the thermastat and gasket. Filled it up with coolant and took it for a test drive. The temperture gague was marking normal and the after 10 minutes of driving it started over-heating. When I got back to the house the gauge was marking 3/4th's and smoke was coming out. I filled it up with more coolant and notice it had gunky looking coolant in the back of the firewall. So we left the car running to see where it was leaking. It started thorwing the coolant thru the pcv hole in the valve cover. Now it has wate mixed with oil in the heads and in the dipstick. What could this be?
