2000 Pontiac Grand Am cutting off

My car ran fne that morning, and then all of sudden that afternoon the car would start but then it would when I put it in gear it would cut off and then it would start back firiing on me.

It sound like low fuel pressure
check or replace fuel filter also check fuel pressure
fuel pump may be at fault
