1996 Pontiac Grand Am random RPM surges

I have been having this problem for about a year. The RPM will rondomly moves from 900-3400 RPM and all over. Seem to be wores in the first 10min of starting the car. Sounds like a vaccum problem to me but I dont know what not working properly?

You may want to check your coils I dont know if you have a parts store that will scan your codes but if they do and it comes back as random misfire that may be your answer weak coil/s
