1989 Pontiac Firebird NO ONE CAN FIRGURE IT OUT CAN U

Heres the story, My car stales out when I start it or sit at a light and I have to pump the gas to get it to work. It also works worst in the rain. If I drive on the freeway and then drive in the city it runs alot better. The carburetor is fine not cracks or anything. If anyone know how to put the cords back on that would be great also. Replaced my fill pump a year ago and replaced fuel flitler 3 months ago
