Hi, I started getting REALLY tight - hard brakes. And a vacuum sound. So I checked out the front brakes and replaced them.I still had a very distinct vacuum sound and very tight brakes.I replaced the brake booster that the master cylider is connected to and the vacuum sound was greatly reduced BUT my brakes are still very very hard. To the point of concern. Please help. And thank you for your time

Whats the vac level when u apply the brake. It might be that not enuff vac to assist the power to the hydraulic. Also I look up gm bulletin. Thats a recall on the 1 way chk valve. If theres not enough vac or a leak. Thats not ur brake system problem. By the way. To chk out a pwr booster leak. All u have to do is step on the brake when engine is idling. Idle goes up means u have a leak at the diaphram if vac is constant.I am against throwing parts then goes to church hoping u hit the problem.
Good luck man
