Hey ive got a 98 plymouth voyager that for a long time would bog out for a second then go again, and now it wont start, it cranks over but wont start. Im thinking fuel pump so i went under the hood pulled the fuel lines off and cranked it over and didnt get any fuel. So i pulled the pump out of the tank, plugged the wires back in, and nothing. So how do i check for power to that plug going into the fuel pump itself. Any help is greatly appreciated

Sorry for the delay in responding.

You must also check for spark, and you must check for power to the fuel pump while cranking the engine. Voltage to the fuel pump, injectors, ignition coil, alternator field, and oxygen sensor heaters will only be present for one to two seconds after you turn on the ignition switch. It will go away after that couple of seconds until the engine is rotating, (cranking or running).

If there is no spark during cranking, don't waste your time with the fuel pump. The next step depends on which engine you have.
