THE VAN WILL NOT PASS THE EMISSIONS PART OF THE INSPECTION. THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT 3 SENSORS WERE DOWN. I TOOK IT BACK AND 4 SENSORS WERE DOWN. THE MECHANIC TOLD ME TO DRIVE IT SOME MORE, NOW 5 SENSORS ARE DOWN. THE SAME THING HAPPENED LAST YEAR. I HAD TO LEAVE HIM DRIVE IT EVERYDAY FOR A WEEK BEFORE HE COULD GET IT TO PASS. COULD IT BE A BAD GROUND WIRE OR A FUSE(S)???? I'M AT THE END OF MY ROPE! PLEASE HELP, I'D LOVE TO SEND YOU A DONATION AS SOON A I KNOW HOW MUCH IT'S GOING TO COST FOR MY CAR REPAIRS. THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME. IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME WHEN HE TELLS ME TO JUST DRIVE IT MORE AND THAT SEEMS TO MAKE IT WORSE. :?:

The PCM (van computer )
monitor the sensors and emission components
and detect a fault
and store its information so it can be check and tested
so if your battery was disconnected or the PCM to be cleared the PCM has to go throw a what they call a drive cycle
that is the reason why you need to drive the van
and if it keep on doing this to you and no one disconnecting battery or resetting the PCM
then the PCM need to be reprogrammed
good luck
