Transmission problem
1999 Plymouth Breeze 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i am having a problem that the transmission has decided not to shift out of 2nd gear when in drive. can anyone help.

Transmission control module goes into "limp mode". Your check engine light is on. Get it scanned. If scanner asks, select transmission instead of engine control module.

Most Cloud cars that I have seen had their both speed sensors (input and output) replaced. Start with that first, after getting your computer scanned. Some, including mine, have had the Powertrain Control Module replaced.
