1998 Plymouth Breeze

I was in an accident.I had my oil pan replaced, and my tranny pan, and tranny mount replaced. Now my speedo dosn't work, and it won't shift out of low while driving. It shifts in all the gears just fine while sitting. It has power to neutral safety switch, but no power to solenoid. There is a wire coming from inside the car, that looks to be w/blk stripe, but we can't find where it came from. Also car makes a scraping noise when you turn to the left, and it disapates as you go faster. Someone told me that I needed a new tranny but it seemed to me, that it was electrical. Please tell me that I was right. Please help me.I am dissabled and I can't afford another car on what I am paid. Thank you.
