Seems to be loosing power to the coil, intermitant problem, replaced relays etc. Possibly wireing in steering collumn or ignition switch. Changed fuel filter to no avail. Could it be the pick up? Or what ever it is called underneath the distrubitor cap. Thanx for anyones help!

Hi:

I doubt if the pick up has anything to do with the problem, but you never know. Does it look corroded or rusty? If so, try cleaning it. Otherwise, you will have to start at the problem and work backwards through the wiring until you find the short, broken wire.
