Some disassembly of the lower steering column trim is necessary as are a couple of lower dash trim panels, this should allow you to see it and how it is installed, you'll need to drop the column down in some cases, but it's only four 10 mm nuts and screws. You'll have to locate a new one and match it up, pry it out of the rubber grommet and take it off the transaxle by loosening the small nut on the shift lever on the trans. Then just push the new one thru, I hook em up on the trans first and spray the grommet on the column before pushing the new cable in the grommet. It will make life a little eassier. Last step is to try and tighten the new cable near the same spot as the old one(the clamp or hold down). Don't make it too tight at first. Try it and if its ok, tighten it up all the way. Hope its ok for ya.
