Hi,

The door panel isn't too hard to remove. However, if you're not careful, you could break the plastic clips holding on or damage the panel itself.

First, check for screws around the outer edges of the panel (top, bottom, sides). Remove all screws you find. Next, there will be a screw in the inter handle. Remove it. Now you will need to remove the window crank and remove the screw holding the handle assembly in place. After everything is removed, carefully pull out on the panel. There are plastic retainer clips holding it. Don't force it if isn't coming. There is a tool used to remove them if they don't want to come out too easily. I know most body shops have them. Perhaps someone would lend you one or quickly pop them off for you.

Regardless, follow the directions in reverse order to replace the panel.

If you have trouble, or any other questions, let me know.
Joe

My car drivers side will not open from the inside anymore, but it opens fine from the outside handle.

Instead of taking off the door panel it is possible that I only have to take off the inside door handle to see if it is just disconnected or broken? Please let me know okay? Thanks, Tom
