Hi, thanks for taking the time to read I have the vehicle listed above 1.4 tfsi with a very strange problem no one can seem to wrap their head around. ABS and traction control light illuminate the car will run perfectly fine no issues at all however when the lights turn themselves off the car runs slightly more rough the ABS feels like it’s constantly kicking in no matter how hard you press the brakes when you start to accelerate sometimes the traction light comes on and car acts like the car is wheel spinning as the traction is kicking in and the car will also rev on itself when driving sometimes will hold 4/5k revs however will not hold the revs when just stationary in neutral revving. However, when the lights then turn back on car will go completely normal again drive perfect. The first code shown was addressing the front right ABS wheel speed sensor this was replaced still no change then I had I diagnostic come out and it shown VIN on abs module didn’t match vehicle so he suggested it’s had a new abs module in so I paid for this to get coded into the car and the problem is still the same I managed to get the lights back on after carefully driving for a while and now it’s gone back to front right wheel speed sensor. Any advice would be a great help thanks.

Yep, this is common when the bearing hub goes out which causes the sensor to be misaligned with the reluctor. This will give the code that the wheel speed sensor is bad, which is not the case. Here is how to change the bearing hub out which should fix the problem. The bearing will need to be pressed from the hub which an automotive machine shop can do for you, here is a video to show the process.
