I had to change my upper radiator hose yesterday because there was a hole on it. Coolant was running out the hole so I replaced it. Now my car keeps overheating and I hear a hard knocking noise. It seems like the noise is coming from the hose. I can send a video of the sound. I do not know what the problem is or where to start.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a thermostat that is stuck closed which will cause the thumping noise you are describing. Please follow this guide to get the thermostat changed out.

Here are some diagrams for your car.(BELOW)

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
