1999 Peugeot 206 Manual

when i disconnect the wire of the fuel pump it goes 7.5 volt but when i connect it and switch on the car it goes 3.5 volt. Is it ok or something is wrong?thanks

Sorry for the delay in reply .. work and family commitments .. the cars fuel supply voltages are controlled by the cars computer .. I do not have the exact spec's for your vehicle and all cars are different but if the pump was not geting the correct voltage it would not be working correctly and the car would not run at all or it would run badly .. sounds to me like the voltage is correct
