Passenger side front drive axle installation issue

While re-installing drive axle it does not enter completely. it is about 1/2” short of being all the way in and you can hear it hit something metallic. Slid in smoothly until hit something.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Have you verified/are you sure you have the correct size/length replacement axle?You might want to take the old and new axle and perform a comparison seeing if both ends are the same length. Here is a tutorial showing how to replace the axle:

Also, If you see they are actually they are the same I usually try using a a deadblow/Rubber mallet and tap on the outer end to help seat the axle. I've attached a picture below of other instructions. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
