I went and had my car inspected for the state safety sticker and failed as the parking brake release was not working. I have not used it in probably two years. The mechanic showed me that when you pull the release handle in the dash, the handle pulls out without a cable attached. When pushing the brake lock down with your foot, it pops right back up. Any thoughts?
