Code P0406?

2005 DODGE RAM
280,000 MILES • 5.7L • V8 • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

I have been fighting a P0406, I did not find any damage on the wire harness, and I have replaced both the ERG Valve and Tube.

Hi,

I have a feeling there is a short to power at some point. When you checked the wire harness, did you test the wires themselves or was it a visual inspection only?

As far as tests, I attached the diagnostics below specific to this code for your vehicle. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.
