I've been trying to fix code P0300 multi misfires for over a year. I'll start with when the code started was after I had a tune up including a new distributor. The person who performed it didn't unhook the battery or any sensors prior to turning over ignition and therefore burnt up my ignition coil (replaced). Tune up was a complete failure and after replacing sensors; crank, cam, MAP and, MAF. In addition, I got a new fuel pump, fuel relay fuse, fuel filter x2, oxygen sensors bank 2 (x2 on upstream), new muffler and I just did a tune-up (plugs n wires). Not long after that I had to replace burnt up rotor plug/distributor cap and new distributor and I made sure its timed because I don't think it was timed correctly since the tune up that this prob started. So, here I am moving to the next resolve. Before I put a new fuel pressure regulator in. At this point I'm eager to do it on my own but I'd like to know if I can pinpoint what exact issue is by the details on my scanner. I would think scanner freeze frame details of when misfire occurs could help translate and pinpoint to a specific component. Any feedback is welcomed and thank you.

If the diaphragm inside the fuel pressure regulator is ruptured it can cause the p0300 code. Does the engine have low gas mileage? If so, this can be a sign the pressure regulator is bad. With this many miles I would do the spider injector as well because they had problems with them. Clear the codes once the repair is completed. Check out the images (below). Please let us know how it goes.
