Engine overheats while driving?

Whenever it’s in idle it’s fine but going down the road it overheats.

This will be one of two things either the fan clutch is no good or you have a radiator that is plugged internally or externally. Grasp the fan clutch (engine off) and spin it, there should be resistance if it just spins like it is on bearings it is bad. Also use a flashlight and inspect the front of the radiator to see if you have a plastic bag or dirt and debris blocking the cooling fins and when the engine is cold remove the radiator cap and look inside to see if the tubes are clogged.
