Every morning I have to put coolant in my truck. I also have this roaring noise happening until it heats up. Mostly when I run my A/C it overheats after going a couple miles or sitting idle. What do you think it could be? I have had the thermostat housing replaced along with the sensor and the cooling fan as well. I first thought is the fan clutch. What do you think?

Let's start with the idea of where the coolant is going. If you have to add coolant every morning then you either have a leak or it is using coolant. Here is a guide that will help with that:

If you are not finding a leak or coolant on the ground then we need to test the head gasket for a leak. Here is a guide for that:

Let's start with this because if you have a leak in the head gasket then that would account for the loss of coolant and the overheating.

Let us know what you find with this and we can go from there. Thanks
