Engin problem, any help here

Hi everybody

Iam happy to find you.

I have a car 1988 opel kadet, engin size 1600CC

Iam having a bad problem with my car engin, when the engin is cold its shiver and not stable, its stay like this after the heat height then it back stable, I did try to repair manythings like the engin basments but not solved.

I hope to find here any sugesstion or to know whats the problem.

Engine basements - are you referring to the motor mounts? I would suspect them. Given the age of the vehicle, they could be drying out and weak. They may look fine but don't let that fool you.

I would check the egr valve and the pcv.

What you need to determine is whether this is a engine performance problem or a mounting issue.

Iam sorry sir, iam not that good in cars english words.

The motor mounts I replaced them with new one but the problem didnt solved the same.

The problem not performance, the motor is strong, but as I told you whenever the motor cold its shiver alot.

I would check the EGR valve and the PCV.

Can you please show me a picture for the EGR valve and PCV, iam sorry iam not sure what they mean in my language, if you have a picture or some explain to understand, and I will check them soon

Our books do not cover the Opel but here is a link to a website with generic information and diagram about the EGR valve.
