2006 Opel Corsa Knocking sound when braking hard

Hi, I just had new disc pads fitted in the front and they skimmed the discs. Now there is a knocking sound when I brake hard and sudden. It never did it before. Would you maybe know what could've caused this?

P.S. I am in South Africa

have them check one of the caliper pistons is not stuck/sticking !!
