1994 Oldsmobile Silhouette hood release

I have removed the hood release cable, slammed down the hood. Now I need to know how to get under & trip the release

I have found that most of the time, you can get to the latch assembly from under the front of the vehicle. It may require avery long pick or screwdriver to work the release, but that is usually where access can be gotten from
