Catalytic converter

i have an oldsmobile cutlass supreme brougham 1985. im having problems with the pipe coming out of the catalytic converter. its rusted so bad that i pulled off the flange. heres the question. do i have to get a whole new catalytic converter or is there a seperate small pipe that i can attach? if anything needs to be clarified i'd be happy to do so.

Best to check with an autoparts house or your local auto store. I would believe that welding would be necessary. A exhaust system shop (midas, Meineke, etc) should give a free estimate.
