I have an Olds Alero that I just replaced the engine in about 150 miles ago with another 2.4 from a 2000 Pontiac!
It ran perfect until the other night when it rained very heavy and it started to miss very bad with white smoke coming from the exhaust!
The trac off light came on and the service engine soon light then came on!
When I read the codes I got P0204 and P0304!
I changed the fuel rail with the old one from the old engine along with the coil pack and still have the exact same problem!
I check the grounds and all of the fuses but can't figure out what the problem is!
The engine still has plenty of power even with the misfire but it blows a big cloud of white smoke!
No water mixing with oil or engine overheating!
Please help?

Water might be a coincidince. Those are both codes for the #4 cylinder, P0304 is Cyl 4 misfire and P0204 is for the #4 injector control circuit. Get a noid light and plug it into the #4 injector plug and see if it is pulsing and how bright it is at idle. The old injector could have taken out the injector driver in the PCM
