I have an Aurora 2001. In the last year I have had to replace the rims (due to the fact tires would not hold air); recently replaced brakes, struts and shocks. There is a leak of some kind the shop that worked on it thought it was power steering fluid which they thought it was because something was loose. However after a week the car started to shake again and it is still leaking. Taking it to my regular mechanic in a couple of days. Concerned about the cost of this repair and what it could be.

I would think it would be the tire balance if it happens at around 55-60 mph. I have also seen the CV axles go bad and cause a "bind" while in rotation. I would remove the tires for balancing and then if that doesn't help pull the CV axles and check them for replacement. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
