I was wondering if there is a major problem if I am getting oil in the coolant? One mechanic said it is the intake madifold that needs to be replace. I have a neighbor you had a simuliar leak and just added fluid when needed and drove it for another 160000 miles.

When should I replace the water pump on same vehicle

Thanks

It is not good that hte oil is getting in the radiator as it can cause problems, it is usually due to a pin hole in the headgasket or a little crack in the head letting the coolant in with the oil.

Waterpumps id like to say about 100000 miles they should be looked at.
