Hi. I have a 1989 oldsmobile delta 88. The car runs great under slight throttle. After driving it for a while, when its gets all warmed up, when I punch the gas to the floor it will go great but when the rpms get high it starts sputtering and stalls for a sec and then kiks back on. Seems like it not getting enough fuel or sumthin. My brother did a fuel pressure check on it and it was 35 psi. Is that the right prussure? Also when I have it to the floor it seems like the computer is trying to think of how much fuel to give it by fluctuating back and forth and I can feel it.I have a new fuel filter, new plugs and wires, new alternator, new cam sensor, new egr valve. It also idles very roughtl when stopped in or out of gear. Sumtimes it will have a terrible misfire and the whole car shakes. Like it runnin very lean. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Olds 3.8 with that many miles is a tired engine. Everytime you floor it yiou chance for it to fly apart. From the way you describe the problem it sounds like a vacuum leak. Have a mechanice with a smoke tester check for a vacuum leak. Have him or someone do a wet/dry compression test. The fuel pressure is at the lower limits. You need to check the fuel pressure regulator. Let me know
