1996 Oldsmobile Delta 88 value noise due to no oil

I just bought a 1996 olds 88 with 79,000 mile on it. I had the oil change and shortly after that the value started to noise due to no oil. When it cold it make noise, After it warm up it go away. Thank you.

it sounds as if you have a bad lifter, it doesn'tpump up when cold then does when warm. you might check for a loose rocker arm or a bent pushrod. Other than that he thing is to replace the lifter. Which it depends on which engine you have... You might try some chemical ebefore replacing it. Look for one that specifically cleans lifters and it won't fix it right away.
