have a noise, sounds like a wheel bearing, but garage says no, could it be the drive axle or in the transmission? seems like its in the left front area
Sounds almost like the noise you hear going over the rumble strips at about 100 miles an hour

Hi there,

As you can appreciate, it is a bit hare to pin point a noise with out hearing it. I would be guided by the mechanic, a wheel bearing will be easily picked up if run up on a hoist, as would a transmission noise. If in doubt, go get a second opinion first.
