I just replaced a fuel pump that was not working. Now with the new one in, the pump will turn on, but it is not pumping any gas out. I removed the lines coming off the tank with the same thing, no gas. Is is possible for the pump to be running backwards? I have checked all the wiring and everything seems to be correct.

Did you replace the 2" rubber hose at the top of the pump?

How much fuel is in the tank?

No I did not replace that hose, I left the pulsator on there rather then putting the rubber hose on to replace it. That is what I am going to be doing Sunday when I go to drain the tank and remove it again.

It either just doesn't have any fuel or it losing the pressure before it leaves the tank, assuming you didn't somehow cross the hoses or pinch one one between the tank and the frame.
