Especially when accelerating I hear water sloshing from behind the dash somewhere. There is not been any evidence of water leaking in or out of the car. I can not figure out where the water is at, with winter coming I am afraid it will freeze, any suggestions?

Hi:
Most likely what you're hearing isn't water but rather coolant. Make sure your engine coolant is full. To me it sounds like coolant is being pumped into a somewhat empty heater core when the engine reves.

Let me know what you find.
