I have a 2003 olds alero w/ 3.4l v6. Lately the car has issues starting, usually taking three to four key turns to get it going and sometimes I have to hold the pedal down to get it to start and have to hold the rpms around 3,000 for a minute before letting it warm up. My tech could find nothing wrong, twice. Car has 91,000 miles, ant clue?

Hello,

It sounds like you might have an issue with the idle air control valve.
The IAC is located right on the throttle body (see diagram).
Overtime the IAC will have build up of debris and when it gets dirty it can trigger idling issue.
By cleaning the IAC can many times it can fix the issue.
