2000 Oldsmobile Alero 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i changed my waterpump and now my power steering pump makes a noise when i turn my steering wheel (both ways) and the fluid bubbles how do i fix that or is my power steering pump bad but it turns fine no hesitation when turning the wheel

WHen replacing the water pump, did the fluid drain from the PS pump? If so it needs bled. Safely lift the front of the car, fill the PS fluid, with the engine off, slowly turn the steering wheel from full left to full right several times. Recheck the fluid level. IF it went down, refill and repeat until it stays full.
