i Gotta Problem with my achieva just the other day my car started to make a growling noise when I engaged the clutch but when I was driving it the noise went away I was pulling in my drive way and my clutch pedal went very stiff and the growling noise is now constant I do have an electronic switch to turn on my car it mounted on the firewall inside my car my clutch pedal only goes half way to the switch can you guy explain to me what could be the problem could it be a faulty clutch pedal wire or is it the clutch itself or just the clutch plate oh yea the transmission doesnt slip either

Have you checked the throw out bearing?

Well just by hearing it and from what 2 friends of mine said it sounds like it is the release bearing cause I can start the car in gear but as soon as I put my foot on the clutch thats when I get the noise

That is what I thought. The throw out bearing (release bearing) will make noise when you push the clutch in.
