1990 Oldsmobile 88 Where is the reset button for "Chan

I also changed oil in a 93 Buick LeSaber and had the same problem. Its simple I know, but where is the stupid button to reset the idiot message.

Are you refering to the oil change light? If so, (if I remember correctly) look under the dash below the glove box. You will see a black plastic cover with a small round hole (aprox 1/2 inch in diameter). If you look into the hole, you will see a small button. With the key on, use a pen to depress the button and hold it until the light flashes. Release it after that and it will be reset. If there is no hole there for this procedure, let me know. In 1990 is when they started doing this. I believe this is the first set up they had. After this set up, they moved on to others that I can help you with, but I believe the 1990 is this set up.
