Hi Tom, all that needs to be done is to remove the electric oil pressure switch on the engine now and there will be fittings that screw in for a mechanical gauge. You are basically removing one and screwing in a different type. It goes to the same location.
I attached a pic below to give you an idea of where the sensor is. However, I was thinking that this may not work. If I recall, the electric oil pressure switch will shut down the fuel pump if there is no pressure. Ugh! The only way to know is to try. If the engine won't run with it removed, the only other thing I can think of is if they may an adapter that would screw into the pressure spot and then you can attach two things to it.
