For a drain and fill with filter you are going to need 7 Quarts or 6 liters total. The engine holds 5.8 L or just a small amount over 6 quarts so you will have most of one quart left over. What I normally do is to drain the oil, pull the filter, clean the filter mount and install the filter. Now put the drain plug back in and put the funnel in the filler. Then add 5 quarts. Now start the engine, let it run a bit and shut it off. Now check the level. Add another quart and check again. It should read almost full. Add enough of the last quart to top it up. Now for the next change you only need to buy 6 quarts because you will have some left over from this change.
