Odometer not working properly

Clearly this is not supposed to be possible as the odometer is federally regulated.

This means the federal government requires the car companies to ensure they are accurate so for it to jump this is very rare. In fact, I have not seen a legitimate case of this, ever.

With that being the case, Mercedes has a TSB out there talking about mileage inaccuracies.

I attached this below. However, this is not with the odometer. They clearly state that the odometer is not affected but if it were me, I would contact Mercedes directly and register a complaint because they may have a correction for this or have other complaints.

Clearly this is something that they need to take seriously so I would be curious what they say.
