I would suggest starting with running that guide and then checking the fuel pressure when this happens.

This sounds like a possible fuel issue or air flow sensor. Basically if the sensor is not telling the PCM that there is more air coming in then it will lean out and stall.
Lastly we need to check for a vacuum leak.

If there is unmetered air coming in then it will be the same effect as if the sensor was not operating mentioned before. Basically the PCM doesn't know there is other air coming in so it doesn't know to add more fuel and it stalls the engine because there is not enough fuel to match that amount of air.
So again, I suspect we either have too little fuel or too much air. Either way this would create a lean condition and it stalls the engine.
