Have to change my NSS connector. I am looking for a diagram for the wires. It is a three wire connector.

What is "NSS"? If that is the neutral safety switch, the center terminal gets grounded for the starter relay. The two outer wires are for the backup lights. Those two can be switched around without hurting anything. I can dig up a wiring diagram if necessary, but even faster, turn on the ignition switch, then momentarily connect two of the wires in the harness. If you see a tiny spark when you pull the wires apart, the backup lights were just on. That tells you those two wires are for the backup lights. The third wire is the one that must go to the center terminal.

Is the power wire in the middle of the three wires on a 1998 Dodge Durango neutral safety switch.

That isn't a power wire. The ignition switch sends 12 volts to one side of the starter relay's coil. The other side gets grounded through the center terminal of the neutral safety switch. The switch's other two wires are for the backup lights. Those two can be switched around without causing a problem.
