Hey, I bought the vehicle on 3/23 and noticed a low hum during the test drive and didn't think anything of it. When I drove it home on the highway the growling noise got very loud at 65-70 MPH, almost unbearable. I had all the fluids changed but no change in the amount of noise which seems to be coming from the engine. The vehicle runs and handles great. Do you have any idea what is causing the noise? Thanks, Bruce

Bruce, does the noise change when you make turns? Is it consistent with vehicle speed?

A wheel bearing can make a humming noise so at this point, which is my first suspect.

Pay attention when turning. Let me know what direction you turn when it seems to get louder (if that is the case). Also, take a look at this link. You may find it of interest and helpful.

Let me know.
